SleepCareCBT is a sleep counseling and therapy service established by Kevin Abery in response to significant unmet need for non-pharmacologic treatment of insomnia. Kevin was a clinical and research sleep scientist for eight years in Melbourne Australia, where he worked in both public and private hospital settings providing care for patients suffering a variety of sleep disorders. He has a research degree in behavioral neuroscience and psychology and post-graduate training in CBT-I. It is his aim to help clients by providing gold standard, drug-free therapies for insomnia. In addition, SleepCareCBT provides sleep education and advice on optimizing human performance in business and creative settings. By publicly advocating for the importance of healthy sleep SleepCareCBT hopes to raise awareness of its benefits to health, wellbeing and safety.
